In 2020 Wskijnu’k Mtmo’taqnuow Agency Ltd (“WMA”) and Black Diamond Limited Partnership (MBD) entered into a formal partnership Mi’kmaq of Nova Scotia Black Diamond Limited Partnership (MBD). Wskijnu’k Mtmo’taqnuow Agency Ltd is a corporation owned by all 13 Mi’kmaw communities and MBD was formed to generate opportunities to rent, lease, and sell temporary and permanent modular buildings to customers within the Province of Nova Scotia. MBD
also provides full turnkey lodging and major project solutions for diverse sectors including industry and government, for both urban and remote locations.
MBD is structured around a proactive and long-term approach and will increase community capacity and deliver positive economic results for all Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq communities.
