Atlantic Clean Energy is identified as a clean energy financing and investment participant connected to renewable electricity development. Its role is best understood in the context of clean energy finance, project investment, and the capital structures that support renewable energy projects.
From the WMA’s perspective, Atlantic Clean Energy is connected to the financing side of renewable energy participation. Relationships like this help make equity investment possible by supporting the capital structures that allow Mi’kmaw communities to participate in long-term clean energy ownership and benefit.

A Mi’kmaw majority-owned wind energy project in Hants County, developed by WMA and Natural Forces to generate renewable electricity, reduce emissions, and expand Indigenous participation in Nova Scotia’s clean energy future.
